Suitable for North East Lincolnshire residents aged 18 years and over.

Free support – You’ll be allocated with a Wellbeing Worker who will give you the time and space to talk and support you with:

  • Low mood
  • Anxiety
  • Stress management
  • Weight management
  • Daily routines or finding focus in life
  • Confidence & self-esteem
  • Healthy eating & physical activity
  • Stop smoking
Or any wider wellbeing challenges that can affect emotional & physical wellbeing, such as relationship issues.

Better Health – NHS

The free NHS Weight Loss Plan is a 12 week programme that can be downloaded to help start healthier eating habits, becoming more active and losing weight.

Consider also signposting to resources to help people get physically active, including Couch to 5K and Active 10.

ORCHA – Humber Health Apps

All the apps featured are NHS approved, clinically accredited apps.

A free to use local comparison website where people can search for the right app for a range of health related issues, including apps to support them with losing weight (search for ‘weight loss’).

All the apps in the Health App Library have been tested (assessed) by the Organisation in the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA).

Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is treatment that falls outside of mainstream healthcare.

These treatments range from acupuncture and homeopathy, to aromatherapy, meditation and colonic irrigation.

Green Social Prescribing

(A collaboration between Centre4, Navigo, HEY Smile Foundation and North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership)

This programme is for patients who are currently on the NHS mental health waiting lists or accessing Navigo Health and Social Care CIC mental health services.

Activities are community-based outdoor activities, such as gardening and walking. These nature-based interventions and activities can improve mental health and physical health.
