There is no ‘one size fits all’ for a crisis and they can take many forms.
Patients may have thoughts about suicide, be thinking about or actively self-harming, or feel like they have any other mental health emergency.
- For urgent help, call the Single Point of Access on 01472 256256 and select Option 3 to get in touch with our crisis team. They are available 24 hrs a way, 7 days a week.
- Also ‘walk in’ to Harrison House on Peaks Lane in Grimsby.
- If in immediate physical danger or have a medical emergency, advise to call 999 now.
- We’ve also teamed up with Shout 85258 to provide specialist mental health text support for North East Lincolnshire. Just text ORANGE to 85258. This is also a 24/7 service. Please note: this service is run by Shout and not by the NAViGO crisis team.

For patients feeling low in the evenings, they can drop into Safespace and speak to fully trained mental health professionals who will help them manage their wellbeing.
Or, if they would rather stay at home, they can contact Safespace using Zoom between Monday – Friday, 5.30pm – 11pm.
It’s a judgement-free zone who welcome those who are in need – whether that be due to loneliness, isolation or emotional vulnerability. There’s no need to call ahead – just drop in.

Lincsline – Rethink Mental Illness
Criteria: Available in North East Lincolnshire, to anyone aged at least 16 yrs.
We provide support to people who are in crisis due to their mental health. We also provide information on mental health issues, signposting and emotional support.
If English is not your first language we can arrange to speak to you in your own language through an interpreter.

NAViGO – Talking Therapies

Patients must be at least 16 yrs old and registered with a GP in North East Lincolnshire.
We offer talking therapies, like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling and guided self-help, as well as help for common mental health problems, like anxiety and depression.

Green Social Prescribing
(A collaboration between Centre4, Navigo, HEY Smile Foundation and North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership)
This programme is for patients who are currently on the NHS mental health waiting lists or accessing Navigo Health and Social Care CIC mental health services.
Activities are community-based outdoor activities, such as gardening and walking. These nature-based interventions and activities can improve mental health and physical health.

Peer telephone support for people 18 years and over with long term health conditions
Creating Positive Opportunities
Criteria: 18 years and over.
Group Support: We can support people to get online to complete digital forms for benefit appeals, making a plea, making or responding to a small money claim, apply for help with justice fees, apply for a probate of an estate and applying or responding to a divorce.
Criteria: 16 years and over.
Creating Better Opportunities is designed for unemployed adults, to help improve their life prospects, confidence and wellbeing. Support is offered in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis, depending on the needs of the client. Counselling can be provided.
Criteria: 11 years and over.
Educational support for children out of education who have an EHCP. Bespoke packages of learning according to student need

Psychotherapy – all clients on CPO projects are eligible for support from our in-house counsellor

The Wellbeing Service – Live Well
Criteria: North East Lincolnshire residents aged 18 years and over.
Free support – You’ll be allocated a Wellbeing Worker who will give you the time and space to talk and support you with:
- Low mood
- Anxiety
- Stress management
- Weight management
- Daily routines or finding focus in life.
- Confidence & self-esteem
- Healthy eating & physical activity
- Stop smoking.
Or any wider wellbeing challenges that can affect emotional & physical wellbeing, such as relationship issues.

NAViGO – Early Intervention in Psychosis & Transitions
Criteria: Individuals between the ages of 14 and 35 and are at risk of, or experiencing, their first episode of psychosis
The Early Intervention in Psychosis and Transitions (EIT) service provide specialist personal care to young people who are at risk of, or experiencing, their first episode of psychosis.
Also offer support to young people making the transition from child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) to adult mental health services, regardless of diagnosis.
