The North East Lincolnshire Down's Syndrome Family Support Group

We offer emotional and practical support and advice to parents and carers on all aspects of caring for a child or adult with Down’s Syndrome. We regularly hold social events for our members. Strong friendships are made through these events by members and their families. We offer regular gymnastic sessions to our members to improve their strength and balance. We also bring in outside experts to offer training in Makaton to our families and specialist educational training, which we can offer to schools. The group can help financially with specialist Speech and Language assessments, and towards the cost of buying specialist equipment.
